ITA Movement is an active, movement based meditation and an opportunity to bring mindfulness into physical activity. ITA Movement takes the basic principles of meditation and combines them into a movement sequence based on the alignment sequences utilized by practitioners of ITA to realign the energy channels of the body. 

When we work with this movement pattern we are balancing and aligning specific channels and areas of the body to create harmony and balance at all levels of self. Through this sequence we are strengthening our connection with our physical body, our energy body, our higher selves and the earth. We are also bringing balance to the mind. 

Through ITA Movement you will learn to direct chi in a sequenced pattern utilizing the breath and gentle coordinated movements.

This powerful self healing technique allows you to bring alignment and balance to your physical and energetic systems and brings you into harmony with the world around you.

ITA Movement is performed in a standing or sitting position and looks similar to Tai-chi or Qigong. This similarity is because we are working with the same principals as these ancient practices, we are just working with them in a unique ITA sequence.

Once the sequence is memorized it can be practiced through visualization if preferred or if movement is not possible.

ITA Movement only requires a small area if practiced independently and the benefits are amplified when practiced outdoors or in a group.

This 45 minute sequence can be abbreviated into a 30 or 15 minute sequence.

Regular practice of just the 15 minute sequence can bring the health benefits of ITA Movement into the lives of those with even the busiest schedules.

ITA Movement was developed by Melaney Ryan, founder of Integrated Therapeutic Alignment (ITA) and director of The Melaney Ryan Institute of Applied Consciousness (formally the Australian StillPoint Institute.).

 


The Founder of ITA Movement

Melaney Ryan is a fourth generation energy worker with over 30 years of clinical experience as an energy therapist. She is the founder of the Melaney Ryan Institute of Applied Consciousness and developer of Integrated Therapeutic Alignment (ITA) and Mahat Meditation.

Melaney’s intuitive knowledge of how to work with subtle energies was nurtured from an early age by her grandmother and great grandmother. Her great grandmother was an extraordinarily gifted energy worker from the Canary Islands renowned for treating a wide range of difficult ailments.

Building on her family lineage of skills and gifts, through training with Great Masters and working with thousands of clients, Melaney has been able to decode the processes of our integrated energy systems. 

Through this understanding Melaney developed ITA, a form of energy medicine that offers a unique perspective on the understanding of energy and the makeup of consciousness. By developing ITA into a training system, Melaney is able to share her knowledge and experience with other practitioners and with anyone on a path of self development.
