The act of meditation is a combination of breathing, posture, awareness and action that leads to inner stillness. The word ‘action’ may not be the first thing that comes to mind in considering stillness, but the choice to connect with stillness is an action in itself.

Breathing, posture and awareness are all actions, as is the intent to hold the inner space of the body open for the mind to unwind, and allow the unconscious intuitive mind to become present.

Meditation is a form of action taken in love and compassion for the self. The ongoing practice of meditation initiates a process of looking inwardly rather than just outwardly for acceptance and self-realization.

Learn to Meditate is designed to give you an awareness of the core dynamics at play in meditation and provide you with first hand experience of a broad range of styles, techniques and tools so you can choose which approach is best for you. From there you will have everything you need to build an ongoing meditation practice of your own.

The basis is that we are all connected as human beings living on Earth. As each individual becomes aware of the connection we all share with the Earth the easier it will be for us to honor our planet and each other through this connection. In this light, meditation can be seen as a form of action taken in love and compassion for the earth.

EVERYONE CAN AND DOES MEDITATE IN THEIR OWN WAY.

What we do in the ITA Learn To Meditate course is show you how to become fully conscious of this ability, so you can make the most of it in each moment.
